Who We’re Looking For:
We are searching for a passionate Senior Product Manager- Payments who will help us grow and improve our platform. You’re someone who loves to learn a product inside and out, gaining a deep understanding of the product, end-user experience, and the competitive landscape. You’re organized and can seamlessly manage various ongoing projects, playing an active role in communicating new features through demos and training.
You will be the principal product manager on a new payments product that unlocks the next level of ParentSquare’s growth. You will be responsible for developing the product roadmap and executing it to create an industry-leading payments platform. This role requires a high degree of entrepreneurialism and the ability to think strategically about product direction. Most importantly, you share in our mission to improve the lives of students. This role will focus on building out ParentSquare’s new payments product, designed to simplify and manage transactions from parents to schools.
This Role Will Include:
- Product Development:
- Expanding the current payments product and associated back-end features to fit customer needs.
- Building new front-end consumer payment methods (e.g., payment dashboards, payment links in messaging).
- Creating an industry-defining “payment request” mechanism for soliciting payments from parents.
- Developing mechanisms to convert teachers and staff to issue payment requests through the new module.
- Building back-end reporting to fit different stakeholder groups.
- Identifying and filling payments product gaps with solutions that grow market share.
- Building user experiences for mobile app, desktop access, and offline interactions.
- Integrating ParentSquare and payments into different school SIS for data unification.
- Product Feedback:
- Gathering insights from customers to translate their needs into product capabilities.
- Working with leadership, sales, and customer success teams to refine market fit.
- Conducting demos and training for tech, sales, and customer success teams.
- Interviewing customers to solicit feedback on products.
- Acting as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.

- Driving payments product launch with marketing, customer success, and sales teams.
Our Ideal Candidate will have:
- 5-7 years of Product Management experience within SaaS.
- Experience with B2C consumer payment methods and designing user experiences.
- Payments product experience, ideally with Stripe.
- Proven work experience in product management.
- Solid technical background with understanding of software development and web technologies.
- Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves.
- Bonus:
- Experience producing educational technology products.
- Experience working in K-12 Education.

This role pays an annual salary of $150,000-$180,000 DOE.
