JOB DESCRIPTION
The Regional Sales Director Mid West role is responsible for driving the company’s strategy with our in-market team and distributors to deliver our revenue targets, marketing tent poles, market execution targets and perfect stores. Responsibilities will include the states of IL, MN, WI, IN and KY. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across functions. This position will report directly to the CFO and has potential for growth and promotion within the organization.
Position Responsibilities
- Manage distributor partner relationship including assessing distributor execution and managing KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators)
- Serves as primary lead for their regional sales team at Charles Jacquins. Manage teams’ day to day execution in accounts: weekly calls, scorecards, tracking, distributor meetings
- Deep understanding of chain channel. Responsible for strengthening and building relationships with key customers and category management teams. Work closely with distributors to ensure execution and delivering the plan
- On-premise focus: building brand distribution, visibility, and increasing rate of sale in bars, restaurants, casinos, country clubs, stadiums, etc.
- Off-premise focus, increasing distribution, selling in displays, laser focus on shelf positioning and ensuring tents poles are activated.
- Demonstrate a full understanding of revenue growth management competencies and price optimization. Maintain price structures for all brands.
- Provide activity reports to supervisor, including list of objectives, accomplishments, competitive activity, special projects, and/or any specific needs.
- Review monthly goals and objectives of execution plan with manager.
- Provide feedback on effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives, including programs, POS, advertising, etc.
Role Qualifications
- Min of 8 years’ work-related experience with structured sales background, with Beverage Alcohol/Spirits.
- Min of 3 years managing people
Essential Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated success in distributor and customer management
- Proficiency in using analytics/data to identify opportunities and business building solutions
- Sales and Marketing — Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
- Good managerial and effective presentation skills
- Excellent people skills
- Proficient using Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Must be able to carry/lift 45-65 lbs.
