Job description: Job DescriptionVP, CPG Product Management – . We are looking for a seasoned Product Management professional for the role VP, CPG Products to join the Epsilon team. In this role you will be responsible for Epsilon’s CPG offerings to provide a vision and executable strategy for growth. To do this you need to be comfortable in levering client insights, understanding their business needs, as well as industry trends to realize products and solutions that are valued by our clients. In this role you grow and develop a small product management team; using your experience to aid them in setting a vision, overall strategy, and development of new products /solutions from ideation to launch for their respective verticals. As the leader in this role, you will require experiences in which you have demonstrated thought leadership in bringing new Advertising Technology and/or Marketing Technology products to market with proven revenue growth. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential as you will need to align Epsilon’s Vertical approach with other Product Managers, Epsilon Sales and Publicis Groupe team members.The ideal candidate can think strategically and solve complex business problems creatively. The position requires a high degree of business acumen, knowledge of technology and consumer trends. This is highly strategic operational role that requires a resourceful individual with organizational experience and savvy, strong people skills, self-motivation, excellent communication skills and a solid background in AdTech and / or MarTech industries.Responsibilities Of the Role
- Responsible to develop a vision and set the strategic direction of Epsilon’s Vertical offerings to ensure they align with client needs, business growth, and overall technology strategy.
- Working closely with other Product Leaders and Clients to understand product use cases, customer journeys, business applicability and impact of each use case.
- Ability to understand Epsilon and Publicis assorted products, capabilities, and technology to create the “right” solutions for each vertical.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders / senior management / cross-functional teams to influence them for quicker decisions, manage sudden business and technical roadblocks and be able to clear them.
- Aid the team in defining product requirements and roadmaps including things as feasibility, effort, fiscal impact (revenue / cost savings) and strategic value.
- Ensure the Marketing team is aligned with CPG strategy on market positioning and Go to Market (GTM). Effectively communicates updates to internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Build, mentor, and manage a Vertical product team nurturing a client-driven product culture.
- Distill and cascade core tenets of our Product strategy and vision for leadership and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain a current knowledge of the industry, competitors and customers through trade show attendance, direct and indirect customer interaction, trade organizations, and professional publications to maintain competitive insight and continuously enhance product capabilities. Key thought-leader in the organization relative to developing and sustaining competitive advantage across product lines.
Minimum Qualifications
- Deep industry knowledge of Ad Tech media space and/or MarTech systems.
- A minimum of 10 years proven managerial or supervisory experience
- Strong collaboration skills and commitment to interdisciplinary thinking – ability to work across teams focused on strategy, technology, and data in service to new product solutions.
- Must be able to lead product transformation visioning and roadmap, while at the same time being comfortable in rolling up sleeves and lead the day-to-day activities.
- Successful managing and delivering a wide variety product solution to internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid planning, priority setting, and project management skills with experience managing multiple projects and resources concurrently.
- Proven experience influencing a business or marketing strategy through the application and/or management of competitive information, market awareness and product positioning.
- Ability to think strategically and ‘big picture,’ to formulate appropriate product solutions to solve client business needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and adept at developing relationships across diverse teams (including statistical, technical, and marketing resources)
- Initiative-taking, collaborative, and innovative
- Proven history for providing leadership.
- Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
- BA/BS degree. Advanced degree and/or MBA desirable.
