Software Engineering Manager
LeadVenture is looking for an experienced manager to help nurture our marketing development teams as we look to accelerate this critical portion of our business. If you get excited about guiding self-organizing teams along their evolution, this might be a good fit for you. This is not a technical role, but a strong background in software engineering and marketing will help you succeed.
Here is more of what you’ll get to do:
- Work with scrum masters and product owners to enable two agile teams, across both Scrum and Kanban processes.
- Provide critical measurements and feedback to agile teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in solutioning conversations with architecture, product, and development.
- Own career-pathing and up-skilling plans for software engineers, testers, and UI/UX developers.
- Coordinate between these teams and other departments across LeadVenture.
- Assist in defining a growth plan to anticipate future workloads.
- Own post-HR screening portion of hiring process across disciplines.
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- 4-5 years of experience managing agile software development teams.
- 6-10 years of software development / devops experience.
- Familiarity with website development.
- Familiarity with digital marketing (SEO, SEM, TDA, MA) concepts strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of applied agile using different frameworks and tools.
- Proven ability to navigate complex organizations in the mid-size range.
- High comfort level managing fully remote teams, including teams within the full range of US timezones and occasional interaction with India/Turkey timezones.
- Experience with Javascript w/React/Redux, Python, SQL, AWS, Tealium/GTM, Piwik/GA
