We are seeking a talented and experienced people leader to join our dynamic marketing team. This role will be responsible for the development and execution of effective marketing strategies to promote our life and annuity products, drive sales, and enhance brand awareness within the financial professional segment. The Director of Product Marketing will lead a team of product managers focused on product positioning, content creation, and communication strategy.
Job Functions
- Collaborate with the product development team and our field partners to ensure that our life insurance and annuity offerings are aligned with customer preferences and market trends.
- Conduct market research to identify target financial professionals and customer segments, understand their needs, and develop tailored marketing campaigns.
- Partner with the Field Marketing teams to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns within our different distribution channels utilizing digital, print, and events, to reach and engage with financial professionals.
- Oversee the creation of compelling marketing materials, including brochures, advertisements, social media content, and digital assets, to effectively communicate the features and benefits of our life insurance and annuity products.
- Analyze market data, customer feedback, and sales performance to continuously optimize marketing strategies and tactics.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and adapt our marketing approach accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, the sales desk, customer service, new business, and compliance, to ensure a seamless product launch experience.
- Partner with our Data Analyst to measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

- Analytical skills and ability to understand and leverage marketing results, research findings and competitive intelligence to help uncover opportunities, drive stronger messaging and evolve the marketing strategy.
- Deep understanding of life insurance advertising compliance regulations, principles and ethics.
- Communication and organizational skills required to succeed on cross-functional teams and interact with all levels of management.
- Strong staff leadership and development skills.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications.
- 7-10 Years of strategic insurance industry/financial services product marketing experience (life insurance and annuity experience a plus).
- 7-10 Years of marketing communications experience, including content development (writing), creative and process management.
- Proven skills as an engaging storyteller and writer.
- Experience developing and managing marketing initiatives across a wide spectrum of print and digital channels.
- Marketing experience that encompasses Business-to-Business and Business–to-Consumer efforts.
- Hands-on experience managing/directing vendors, and managing and developing internal staff members.

Base Salary Range - $134,000 - $170,000
