Job Summary
PAPER is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our team. You will join a lean, dynamic team and make a high-impact in the development and maintenance of budgets, forecasts, and financial models to drive optimization and efficiency utilizing Anaplan software. The successful candidate has high attention to detail, an analytical thought process, and a strong interest in solving problems.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the financial planning and reporting models within Pigment, the financial planning software for Paper
- Serve as finance business partner to department leads, supporting them in strategic and financial planning discussions including forecast and budget
- Analyze trends, results, and forecast to actual variances and communicate insights to leadership, including identifying risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with accounting team during the monthly close process to ensure accuracy of financials and integration of data into Pigment
- Manage the sales commission payout process
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to support the growth of the business and identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement
- Assist with the documentation of policies and procedures within the department as well as new corporate policies/procedures
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in finance and/or accounting
- 4+ years experience in FP&A or similar roles (strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, consulting, corporate development)
- Strong financial modeling skills and experience with tools such as Pigment, Anaplan, and Tableau
- Experience with NetSuite required
- Experience in SaaS or a high-growth tech company is preferred
- Ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships with internal business partners and department leads
- Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is not phased by ambiguity; possesses a “roll up your sleeves” mentality
