Job Description
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: 8+ years
- Strong experience in B2B/EDI environment with IBM Sterling Integrator
- Strong expertise in business process development and mapping within the EDI domain
- Proficiency in communication protocols such as AS2, HTTP, SFTP, FTP, and API
- Familiarity with logistics-based EDI transactions (., 204, 214, 990, 404)
- Knowledge of DataPower B2B tool for tracking and analyzing document flow in DPOD
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Programming background, preferably as a full stack engineer
- Good understanding of SDLC and development experience
- Experience in performance tuning for Sterling Integrator
- Good understanding of Japanese customs and rules of business meetings
- Proficient in communicating and driving technology solutions that support business objectives
- Ability to work effectively and manage partnerships with all areas and members of the business as well as all levels of the organization
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving and prioritization skills
- Mentoring your team members in projects and helping them keep up with new technologies
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understanding the client’s business use cases and technical requirements and be able to convert them into technical design which elegantly meets the requirements
- Mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers
- Identifying different solutions and being able to narrow down the best option that meets the client’s requirements
- Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation
- Writing and reviewing design documents explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for the developers
- Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed
- Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it
- Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
