As a Senior Lead Salesforce Engineer, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Software Engineering - Contact Center team reporting to the Director Principal Platform Architect, you will support projects including our Next Gen Contact Center Platform, Reservation and Booking System, and Guest Assistance Platform.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Contribute to design, develop, and test highly customized Salesforce applications using Lightning Web Components and Aura Components
- Be the technical lead and provide domain expertise for Salesforce-related development projects
- Work with Solution Architect, Partners, and other Software Engineers to translate requirements into functional applications
- Maintain codebase, resolve technical issues, and find opportunities for performance and feature improvements
- Maintain environment strategy, including procedures for code versioning, release management, and deployment process
- Remain current on Salesforce.com product enhancement, release schedules, and optimizations to existing codebase with a focus on improving operational efficiency
How you will collaborate with others:
- Partner with the Product Team to understand requirements, build functional design documentation, and develop technology solutions that align with our goals
- Work with multiple internal IT groups to integrate solution components in Salesforce and understand technical dependencies and its implications
- Provide support to product development regarding escalation, estimation, prioritization, and help manage the backlog
- Provide advice, mentorship, and assistance to junior engineers to develop staff capabilities
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Hilton's Next Gen Contact Center App built on Salesforce Platform and continue to improve using Lightning Web Components, Lightning Flows, Automation APIs, and other Platform Capabilities
- Modern Frameworks and Design Patterns for better scalability of the applications, including new and advanced capabilities in partnership with all Hilton Digital Channels
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Seven (7) years of professional experience in Technology or a related field
- Six (6) years of experience in a full-lifecycle software development role
- Three (3) years of experience in Lightning configuration, features, and architecture
- Ability to travel up to 10%
It would be useful if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6 years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12 years of Technology related experience
- Experience leading the development of Salesforce solutions in an enterprise environment
- Salesforce Platform Developer II and Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant certifications
- Expert-level knowledge of Service Cloud development, configuration, features, and architecture
- Experience integrating Salesforce.com with external systems using the Salesforce.com API, and third-party REST-based APIs and integration tools (marketing automation, business intelligence, ETL)
- Experience implementing both authenticated and unauthenticated Salesforce Experience Cloud sites
