The opportunity
Teva Pharmaceuticals is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of IT, US Commercial to lead our US Commercial IT division and Global Commercial Solutions organization. Reporting directly to the Global CIO, you will play a pivotal role in driving IT initiatives for Teva's commercial functions in the US and globally. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with senior business leaders, shape IT strategy, and drive innovation to enhance business value and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategies for US Commercial in alignment with global objectives, as outlined by the Global CIO.
- Collaborate with counterparts in Europe and International Markets to develop a comprehensive global commercial IT solutions roadmap.
- Partner with senior US Commercial leaders to understand business needs and provide IT solutions that drive impact, efficiency, and innovation.
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative IT solutions leveraging advanced analytics and AI to better serve patients and customers, and optimize costs.
- Identify opportunities to standardize, integrate, and automate business processes through innovative IT solutions.
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT solution platforms driving specific Commercial market business processes, ensuring consistent implementation across global markets.
- Lead and manage the US IT Commercial and global commercial solutions organization, fostering talent development and alignment with business and IT priorities.
- Organize and staff teams of technologists, project managers, and data experts to maximize delivery capabilities across the US and global commercial teams.
- Ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of IT solutions, providing transparent communication and reporting to senior leadership.
- Oversee vendor management for relevant applications and third-party services in the US.
- Own and manage the IT budget for US Commercial and global commercial solutions, ensuring efficient allocation of investment in alignment with business priorities.
Your experience and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry, with a proven track record of successful project management and execution.
- Deep domain knowledge in US commercial pharmaceutical processes including product sales and marketing, launch processes, pricing strategies, customer and patient journey processes, and commercial operations.
- Advanced knowledge of IT systems including SAP, Veeva, BI, and commercial applications.
- Experience with omni-channel marketing and sales capabilities for healthcare professionals and patients.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and execution capabilities.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies.
- Ability to thrive in a changing and dynamic environment, with strong adaptability and stakeholder management skills.
