Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Executive Director of FP&A with a specialized focus on supporting our Medical Affairs, Marketing and Real Estate functions. The ideal candidate will bring extensive financial expertise, analytical acumen, and a proven track record in driving financial planning and analysis initiatives within a dynamic corporate environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the overall company goals.
- Lead the development and monitoring of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans for the Medical Affairs, Marketing and Real Estate areas.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure effective allocation of financial resources for advertising, promotions, and brand initiatives.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to assess the performance of marketing campaigns and real estate projects.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance efficiency, optimize investments, and drive profitability.
- Provide strategic financial insights for real estate investments, analyzing market trends and identifying growth opportunities.
- Lead financial evaluations of potential real estate ventures, assessing risks and returns to inform decision-making.
- Drive cost-effective financial solutions for marketing campaigns, optimizing ROI and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with overall organizational goals.
- Work closely with marketing and real estate teams to allocate resources effectively, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
- Develop sophisticated financial models to support decision-making processes related to marketing initiatives and real estate investments.
- Establish robust reporting mechanisms to track key performance indicators, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for executive stakeholders.
- Identify and assess financial risks associated with Medical, marketing and real estate activities, implementing proactive measures to mitigate potential issues.
- Implement financial controls and policies to ensure compliance and risk management in all areas.
- Foster strong partnerships with Medical, Marketing, Real Estate, and other cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless communication and alignment of financial goals.
- Drive process improvements within the FP&A function, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in financial planning processes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing strategies and real estate market dynamics.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to provide strategic financial guidance.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and external partners.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification is a plus.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $131,500.00 - $303,200.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
