Position Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced process design and documentation consultant to analyze, document and improve process/workflow in support of transforming and running complex operational processes to improve our clients business performance. The successful candidate will ensure that we have a well documented Service Delivery Model with standard operating procedures and best practices across people, processes and technology.
The Process Transformation Consultant will play a vital role in our organization through collaboration with stakeholders to standardize and document processes for a multi-year global transformation program to define and implement a more consistent, cost effective and technology enabled operational delivery model for our delivery operations organization
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. They should also have experience with process definition, documentation and large scale change management within a multi-national or global enterprise. They should be comfortable using technology to streamline processes.
Primary Responsibilities
Collect, define and document existing standard operating procedures.
Develop and implement document management policies and procedures.
Review and edit documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Ensure that all documents are properly classified, filed, and stored in accordance with company policies and regulations.
Support large scale change management program to align standard processes and best practices
Monitor document usage, access, and retention to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Work with internal teams to establish standard documentation templates, formats, and styles.
Maintain and update a document database or library, ensuring that all documents are appropriately archived and indexed for quick retrieval.
Identify process redesign and improvement opportunities and gather information and insights to recommend solutions.
Facilitate and lead process mapping sessions and workshops with clients and stakeholders.
Conduct analysis and evaluation of current processes to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Use Lean Six Sigma methodologies, tools, and techniques to create visualizations and develop processes, workflows, and procedures.
Communicate the drivers of process improvements and the opportunities and benefits of process changes to stakeholders and clients.
Provide input to training and guidance that will support clients and stakeholders in adoption of changes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications, information management).
3+ years of experience in process document mapping and change management programs or a related field for a similarly size and complex organization
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Attention to detail and excellent analytical, editing and proofreading skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization
Familiarity with document management software and best practices
Experience utilizing Lean Six Sigma concepts for process improvement, performance optimization, and change management.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Proven ability to organize, prioritize and work well with others
Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas and solutions logically both written and orally
Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues
Desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
Capable self-starter with a drive to get all types of work done and high attention to detail
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to document management and retention is a plus
Reasonably expected salary range: $101,700.00 - $135,600.00
