This position is classified as hybrid and will be filled in either Hartford, CT or Woonsocket, RI.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of the Internal Audit Professional Practices Team, the Senior Manager will be a key member of the Internal Audit team and will lead efforts supporting the department’s overall framework and methodology, including ongoing quality assurance review (QAR) processes. This role will also provide project management to assigned auditors supporting Internal Audit department initiatives, including training, communication and engagement activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading quality assurance reviews to ensure the work our team does conforms with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards, our internal audit department methodology, policies and compliance requirements. Work closely with Internal Audit department staff and leadership on execution of quality assurance reviews, including providing feedback on findings.
- In partnership with the Internal Audit Methodology Committee, manage methodology updates, including policy, procedure and template maintenance.
- Assist management with the day-to-day responsibilities and maintenance of the Audit Plan and risk assessment; assist in monitoring and reporting on overall completion, scheduling, and budgeting of audits and resources across the department.
- Support department reporting and track department KPIs.
- Demonstrates a commitment to integrity and the company code of conduct, and a respect for diversity and inclusion.
- Contribute to overall Internal Audit Department team norms to promote a positive environment and improve team effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- 7 or more years of experience in accounting or finance, internal audit, compliance, and/or public accounting.
- 2 or more years of leadership/management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters – Accounting, Business, Information Technology.
- Relevant Certificates or Licenses (CPA, CIA, CISA, etc.).
Education
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $79,200.00 - $174,200.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
