Job Summary: Apryse, a leading provider of document processing solutions, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of End-User Products to lead our product team in the development and execution of innovative SaaS solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Product-Led Growth (PLG) tactics, online purchase flows, A/B testing, design-driven development, and managing complex product portfolios. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving user engagement and business growth through exceptional product experiences. This candidate obsesses about details and understanding the why behind all the actions that drive these products’ business impact and customer value. You are able to find creative answers to complex and seemingly impossible challenges, while you launch and create new products from within an established company that needs to achieve and execute on revenue targets. You are a team player that enjoys getting into the execution while mentoring and coaching a remote and passionate team of PMs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy and Vision:
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with Apryse's overall product portfolio and business objectives.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive product roadmap that prioritizes features and enhancements based on user feedback, market trends, and business objectives.
- Build a multi-year view of your products on how we will win and build a business model that supports top line growth and investment scenarios.
- Create launching new product ideas and initiatives from within an established product portfolio and company.
- Solve complex problems through balancing fast iteration cycles and finding product market fit, while also executing and hitting a growth target.
- Product-Led Growth (PLG):
- Enable and coach PLG tactics within your Product team and the broader organization to drive user acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion.
- Design and optimize seamless online purchase flows to enhance user experience and increase conversion rates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of purchase flows with other business systems.
- Make Data an Asset:
- Lead A/B testing initiatives to validate product hypotheses and make data-driven decisions.
- Use analytics to continuously optimize the product experience and tie business outcomes to product initiatives.
- Establish a culture of experimentation within the product team to foster continuous improvement and innovation, where failed experiments are not punished but used as key learnings into the next iteration.
- Product Lifecycle Management:
- Oversee the management of a complex product portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and business results.
- Develop and implement processes for effective prioritization, resource allocation, and performance measurement.
- Champion design-driven development practices to create intuitive, user-centric products and work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure that product designs are aligned with user needs and business goals.
- Advocate through clear and data-backed business cases where additional or reduced investments would improve overall performance, including new products and end of life options.
- Leadership and Team Development:
- Ability to lead, influence and align cross functional teams to a common vision and goal even if they are not in your direct organization.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing product team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
- Provide mentorship and development opportunities to team members, helping them achieve their professional goals.
- Ability to stretch into more ownership roles as the product GTM plans incorporate direct sales, partner, or other distribution channels.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate closely with marketing and development teams to ensure cohesive product launches and go-to-market strategies.
- Create a win-together culture where strategy, planning, and execution are done seamlessly across the departments.
- Communicate product vision, strategy, and performance to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the SaaS industry.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing PLG strategies and driving user growth.
- Strong expertise in online purchase flows, A/B testing, and design-driven development.
- Experience managing complex product portfolios and leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
