Overview
Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist’s Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon faculty partner joining an established and nationally recognized practice in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
Position Overview:
- Location: Winston Salem, North Carolina.
- Clinical Focus: The ideal candidate will be proficient in treating conditions related to hand and shoulder in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Teaching Opportunities: Engage in orthopedic resident and hand fellow teaching, as well as participate in clinical and laboratory research.
- Collaboration: Join a team of 10 hand partners, 3 hand fellows, and a total of 90 faculty in the Department, ensuring seamless referrals and collaboration.
- Call Expectations: Call duties include hand call at level one trauma center 4-6 days per month.
- Support: Benefit from the support of dedicated APPs and learners.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery with fellowship training in hand and upper extremity (wrist to shoulder).
- License: Eligible for NC Medical License.
