MaineHealth Cardiology is seeking a full-time clinical cardiologist (non-interventional) for their practice located in their Augusta and Waterville, Maine locations. Selected candidates will join a growing team of over 70 cardiologists who provide inpatient, outpatient and consultative services. This position offers:
- A growing practice with office locations in Augusta, Waterville, Lewiston, Rockport, and Scarborough.
- Nationally recognized inpatient cardiovascular service line at Maine Medical Center, which serves as the hub for the extended MaineHealth network.
- Provides patients across the state with the highest quality cardiac care, working closely with other regional hospitals to build a coordinated network of cardiology services.
- This integrated practice includes MaineGeneral Health, Maine’s third largest health care system. The Alfond Center for Health, MaineGeneral Medical Center’s state-of-the art, 192-bed regional hospital, has a diagnostic cardiac catheterization lab and full on site imaging, including echocardiography and nuclear testing.
- The Augusta/Waterville practice consists of 8 cardiologists and 5 advanced practice providers and includes a dedicated Heart Failure subspecialist and robust Electrophysiology clinic.
- Team-based care model with collaborative approach to care.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
