Job description:
Tasks and responsibilities: In your new role as a Sales Engineer for our business development in the U.S., you'll drive growth by expanding sales through diverse channels. From acquisition and consulting to closing deals and setting up systems, you'll be involved every step of the way. You'll also oversee customer support and system maintenance, playing a key role in customer satisfaction and long-term success.
- You'll implement sales strategies for customer acquisition and business development across the U.S. and establish/expand relationships by visiting distributors and customers in your territory.
- This includes identifying and analyzing market potential and target groups, as well as delivering engaging presentations and product demonstrations of our innovative technical packaging solutions.
- By analyzing customer needs, you'll develop customized solutions, prepare proposals, and work with our sales team to finalize contracts before installing systems at customer sites and providing after-sales service (e.g., maintenance) for ongoing customer satisfaction.
- While assisting with the planning and execution of marketing and sales campaigns, you'll keep your team updated on your progress by regularly reporting on your sales activities and results.
- You'll actively participate in trade shows and events, where you'll have the opportunity to network with industry professionals, build meaningful customer relationships, and showcase our innovative solutions.
- Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure optimal customer care, while you diligently track and manage customer information in our CRM system to keep our records accurate.
Required profile:
Qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Degree in sales engineering, product management, business administration, management, or a related field
- Professional experience in a similar position, ideally in technical product sales, with a keen understanding of technology and strong hands-on skills.
- Proficient with MS Office and CRM systems
- A high level of customer/service orientation and a passion for product demonstrations and application training
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for the majority of work hours
- Team spirit and commitment, coupled with an independent and structured work style, strong organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail
