This role will collaborate closely with executive and program leadership to uphold the highest standards of fiscal oversight and customer service across all facets of network operations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee the operations of the accounting department, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll
Recruit, train, evaluate, and manage the accounting department staff
Assist in new customer development and growth of accounting services business

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

General ledger entry and preparation
Monitoring cash status
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Preparation of monthly financial statements
Prepare and submit monthly cost reports and invoice to funders and customers
Review and ensure accurate submission of payroll. Apply all payroll standards required by state and federal law.
Assist in preparation of annual budget
Prepare year-end audit schedules and work with external auditor
Prepare fiscal analyses, forecasts, and projections for CEO/COO
Financial presentations to Board of Trustees
Other duties as assigned

Strong, transparent, high-integrity leadership
Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
Good oral and written communication skills are essential.
Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills in bringing people together to solve problem
High competency in the use of Excel

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
5-8 years related experience
Experience in nonprofit accounting preferred
Experience managing accounting staff preferred
