Lakeside Family Medicine, a member of HealthStar Physicians of Hot Springs, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team. Located in the scenic town of Hot Springs, Arkansas, our clinic focuses on delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care to families in our community. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and management of various health issues across all age groups.

Shift:

Dayshift
Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

Provide primary care services, including physical exams, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients of all ages.
Interpret laboratory results, prescribe medications, and manage overall patient care.
Collaborate with lead physicians and other healthcare professionals to prepare and manage detailed healthcare plans.
Educate patients and their families on preventive health measures and chronic disease management.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
Maintain patient records and document health history and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree from an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program.
Current and valid AR state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in family medicine or primary care preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
