Job Summary:

As the Associate Director of Paid Social, you will provide strategic direction, leadership, and oversight of all paid social media advertising initiatives. You will collaborate with innovative & transformative digital health and e-commerce clients, senior management, and cross-functional teams to develop and execute paid social strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, traffic, and conversions. Your role involves managing a team of paid social account managers, optimizing campaigns, and staying ahead of industry trends.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and communicate the overall paid social media advertising strategy.
- Collaborate with clients or senior management to align paid social efforts with broader marketing objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a paid social specialist team, including setting clear performance objectives and providing guidance.
- Oversee campaign planning, execution, and optimization efforts.
- Ensure team members are well-equipped to deliver exceptional results.
Client Collaboration:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and objectives.
- Present strategic recommendations, campaign performance insights, and progress reports to clients.
Campaign Strategy and Planning:
- Develop comprehensive paid social strategies, including budget allocation and audience targeting.
- Ensure the creation of effective ad creatives that align with brand guidelines and resonate with the target audience.
- Oversee the implementation of advanced audience segmentation and targeting strategies.
Performance Analysis and Optimization:
- Monitor campaign performance using social media analytics tools and other data sources.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Implement A/B testing and other advanced optimization techniques.
Budget Management:
- Manage budgets for paid social campaigns, ensuring efficient allocation and adherence to financial goals.
- Provide recommendations for budget adjustments based on campaign performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field
Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) in paid social media advertising and digital marketing.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale paid social campaigns.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
In-depth knowledge of social media advertising platforms and emerging trends.
Experience working with a diverse range of clients and industries.
