Cornerstone Academy is seeking gracious and engaging Latin teachers. This is a full-time or part-time position. Positions available for middle and high school levels.

Requirements

Have at least a 4-year college degree (preferably in Latin or classical languages).
Display a love for learning and a passion to cultivate that love in their students.
Be willing to learn and implement the classical methodology of teaching.
Agree with and support the school’s statement of faith, attend and be in good standing with a Christian church, and live a life of discipleship under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
Demonstrate the ability to communicate well with parents.

The ideal candidate will:

Have 1+ years of experience teaching.
Have a degree in Latin or comparable subject.
Demonstrate an understanding of and skill in implementing classical curriculum and pedagogy, and seek to grow in his/her understanding of this tradition in order to re-imagine and embody the richest practices of Christian, liberal arts education.
Be capable of instilling in students the love of learning.

Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
