What You'll Do:
We’re seeking a Senior Strategist to join our Segment Marketing team. In this role, you’ll support strategic planning, development, and execution of marketing initiatives that elevate brand awareness, drive client engagement, and support business growth for your assigned audience segment. Reporting to the Head of U.S. Segment and Digital Innovation, the Senior Strategist will collaborate with teams across marketing communications, content, and digital marketing, and will serve as the primary marketing liaison to the sales team.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for the assigned audience segment, aligned with key business objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create impactful marketing collateral, programs, and campaigns.
- Partner with digital marketing and analytics teams to assess the effectiveness and performance of marketing initiatives.
- Act as an audience expert, staying informed on industry trends and competitor activities to ensure competitive positioning.
- Utilize competitive analysis, sales feedback, client insights, and usage data to drive strategy, ensuring alignment with relevant products and market demand.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and seven years' work experience in a financial services organization, in marketing, communication or related field, required.
- Previous experience with multichannel marketing campaigns and executing on marketing strategy, required.
- Previous experience with digital marketing, lifecycle marketing and marketing nurture journeys strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services market and products is strongly preferred.
- Able to work with multiple teams, build and maintain strong relationships and negotiate.
- Strong abilities in the areas of problem solving, project management, decision making, and communication (verbal and written).
- Must be detail oriented and have excellent planning, and time management skills.
- Must be able to manage expectations, attend to details, balance multiple projects, and prioritize effectively.
- Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
Salary Range Information:
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range: $123000 - $167000 / year.
Work Environments:
This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from New York, NY or Des Moines, IA). You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
