NBCUniversal is looking for a Sr. Analyst of Primary Research & Experimentation team to execute research studies in support of Ad Sales business, spanning NBCU's linear TV & digital platforms, including NBCU's premier streaming service, Peacock.
The Sr. Analyst will be a key position within the Insights & Measurement team, supporting the development and execution of primary research studies that will help guide key strategic decisions and positioning for the business. The scope of project topics will vary, but our Sr. Analyst will be keenly focused on driving audience intelligence around topics that orbit NBCUniversal's vast content library and advertising solutions.
Day to day, the Sr. Analyst will consult with internal stakeholders to determine key objectives for upcoming projects, help outline the right solution to solve these objectives, and manage project execution from design to vendor management and insights delivery. In this role, you will support the Senior Director of Primary Research & Experimentation and work with stakeholders across the sales organization including Category Strategy, Sales Enablement, Marketing and more.
Duties and Responsibilities:- The ideal candidate is a researcher ready to make an impact and help drive the development of proprietary insights. You should have experience with quantitative and qualitative primary research techniques, stewarding projects from design through delivery.

- Offer yourself as a resource on all things primary research to internal stakeholders and external advertiser clients
- Be ready to solve stakeholder problems by understanding their business objectives and crafting the best research design to help achieve these objectives
- Help design and manage qualitative and quantitative research initiatives, including developing research instruments, managing fielding, analyzing data, writing reports, etc.
- Discover the story in the data through thoughtful and robust analysis, while also leveraging third party data to contextualize and amplify the learnings
- Work with and manage research vendors to ensure adherence to industry best practices, stated timelines, contracted deliverables and high data quality
- Be a self-starter, a clear communicator and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- And most importantly, we will need you to live the values of collaboration and teamwork, operating as One Team across NBCU Insights & Measurement
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree in a relevant field a-plus (Business, Market Research, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, etc)
- 2+ years' experience in primary research, designing and managing complex projects and consulting with clients and/or internal stakeholders
- Statistics knowledge and experience required; ability to conduct advanced statistical analyses is an advantage but not required
- Proven collaboration and interpersonal skills including past success managing clients/stakeholders and vendors
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with statistical analysis tools like R, SPSS and/or SAS preferred
- Mastery of Microsoft Office suite
Desired Characteristics- Previous experience in advertising sales, a media/tech company or an agency is preferred
- Ideal candidate is a proactive individual who possesses the ability to take initiative and perform analysis and other tasks with minimal supervision, including the ability to deal with competing priorities effectively, and work efficiently in a high-paced, results-oriented environment
- Passion for diving into complex concepts, defining value propositions and championing the voice of sales
- Ability to develop strong relationships with across all levels of the organization

Salary range: $75,000 - $100,000
