Apply now for the position of Payroll Analyst, and you will be responsible for the ongoing payroll delivery of multiple countries and to ensure payroll processing with the highest level of compliance, controllership, and accuracy for main run and off-cycles. In this role, you are going to be part of a Managed Payroll team and will act as the payroll subject matter expert for our workforce in the United States and Canada.
Your role:
- Process payroll for all exempt, non-exempt, and executive employees based in multi-country environments, including but not limited to new hires, terminations, status changes, merit increases, bonuses, commissions, vacation, personal leave, and overtime.
- Ensure pre- and post-payroll validation activities and statutory validation.
- Review manual and off-cycle payment requests.
- Coordinate payroll processing with third-party providers.
- Work with third-party provider to ensure alignment of accurate payroll practices and procedures in accordance with local/country specific legislation.
- Ensure tax and social security deductions executed by third-party providers are administered correctly and on time.
- Ensure all journals are provided in line with the calendar deadline for closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll journal entries for general ledger posting.
- Conduct audits on payroll data and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the maintenance of payroll systems, ensuring proper configuration and updates.
- Analyze and process payroll tax data to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Assist with the year-end reconciliation process for payroll taxes and related filings.
- Support and take part in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Your expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years demonstrated payroll experience.
- Proven understanding of payroll tax legislation, process, standards, and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to secure and maintain confidential information.
- Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
- Quarterly and Year End adjustments
- Detailed knowledge of W2, W2c; T4 and T corrections process
