This full-time role in the Maintenance department involves working Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts. What You Will Do In Your Role:
- Collect and analyze route data; report findings to customers.
- Troubleshoot rotating equipment and make decisions.
- Utilize advanced technologies like ultrasonic and motion amplification.
- Learn vibration technology and achieve level 1 certification within 18 months.
- Manage schedule and prioritize workload.
- Conduct informational meetings with department managers on equipment run ability issues.
- Allocate time for data analysis at a PC, data collection, and equipment troubleshooting.
The Experience You Will Bring:
Requirements:
- One or more of the following:
- A minimum of two (2) years experience as a mechanical technician in a manufacturing, industrial or military environment
- Completion of a relevant maintenance apprenticeship program
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
What Will Put You Ahead:
- Experience with condition monitoring such as vibration analysis, ultrasonics, infrared, and oil analysis
- Understanding of predictive maintenance philosophy.
- Precision Maintenance experiences such as setting bearings, measuring journals, use of dial indicators, and micrometers.
- A mechanically inclined person who understands long-term reliability concepts involving rotating equipment.
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to work with multiple software packages, such as Microsoft, Passport, PTM, NRX, and ultimately AMS Machinery Health Manager.
- Good math and problem-solving skills.
- A good decision maker, who can handle the pressure of making challenging decisions.
- Effective communicator and customer-focused.
