Senior Technical Implementation Consultant, OneSource
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Technical Implementation Consultant with 5+ years of experience in implementing ORACLE ERP Integration and/or financial add-ons for ORACLE R12 or Fusion. The Principal Implementation Consultant - ERP will work closely with ONESOURCE Project Managers and Tax SME to implement ONESOURCE Determination integration software at client sites in Global Implementations.
You will provide customers with domain expertise when implementing tax scenarios and integrating ONESOURCE Indirect Tax to ORACLE applications including ERP, ecommerce, and POS. As a Principal Technical Implementation Consultant ERP, you will work with a project team to gather and define business requirements and convert them into robust and flexible solutions. This position is unique as you will be exposed to customers from various industries and their business requirements and operations.
About The Role:
As a Senior Technical Implementation Consultant, you will:
- Serve as a primary integration interface with client tax professionals.
- Lead business and user requirements sessions and formulate them into design/solution documentation for Integration.
- Assist in the analysis and delivery of ORACLE integration implementations that reflect an in-depth understanding of the client’s tax requirements and compliance process.
- Engage with other Thomson Reuters teams as appropriate to deliver end-to-end Indirect Tax integration solutions.
- Ensure all Indirect tax-related requirements are met.
- Explain ONESOURCE Integration for ORACLE related issues/problems and solutions to non-tax & technical staff.
- Work with clients to translate their tax policy into ONESOURCE integration solutions.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams in the growth of the product and solutions.
- Install and configure ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Integration for ORACLE.
- Execute work within a controlled project management environment.
- Work with Pre-sales on prospects and bid development.
- Collaborate with functional & technical colleagues to deliver the implementation.
About You:
You are a fit for the position of Senior Technical Implementation Consultant if your background includes:
- 5+ years of work experience with at least 3 of those years working with ORACLE ERP.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Technical experience implementing ORACLE and/or Add-on Solutions.
- Able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues caused when multiple add-ons are installed.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving ORACLE system issues.
- Experience with process analysis, design, mapping, and re-engineering.
- Experience with process/software gap analysis and resolution.
- Experience creating and executing test cases and test scripts.
- Experience working in the ORACLE application.
- Oracle Programming capabilities.
- Knowledge of APIs, Web services (SOAP & REST), XML.
- Up to 10% of travel is expected.
