Human Resources Business Partner

We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Human Resources Business Partner to spearhead our HR efforts, based in the greater Chicago area, onsite in our southwestern suburb. This pivotal role involves crafting and implementing HR strategies that are perfectly aligned with our ambitious corporate goals, thereby fueling our continuous growth and innovation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the HR Leadership Team to design and implement innovative people strategies that support our ambitious company goals.
- Thought Leadership: Offer expert HR advice, particularly in Employee Relations, to maintain compliance and proactively manage risks.
- Change Management: Assist the organization through transitions by empowering managers and leaders to navigate and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Talent Management: Identify talent needs and collaborate with managers to foster internal growth and prepare teams for future challenges.
- Performance Improvement: Develop and champion HR strategies that boost organizational performance and contribute to long-term goals.
- Corporate Collaboration: Work with Corporate Centers of Excellence to harmonize efforts in leadership development, compensation, benefits, and staffing.
- Apprenticeship Program Oversight: Lead and align our apprenticeship program with business objectives, supporting the development of future skilled professionals.
- Administrative Support: Provide support for our HR Performance Management system and assist with essential reports and metrics.
- Project Leadership: Lead HR projects that support business outcomes, ensuring completion within standards and timelines.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Over 5 years of HR experience, specifically within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work full-time onsite, reflecting a commitment to team collaboration.
- Proven expertise in managing complex employee relations in a manufacturing context.
- Detailed knowledge of HR disciplines like compensation, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and employment law.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and skilled in data management.
- Dynamic and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification.
- Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in global HR strategy development and execution.
- A strong track record of successful HR project leadership.
