Position Summary
We are seeking an Associate HR Consultant to join our Operations team supporting the Classification and Compensation efforts. This para-professional role offers the opportunity to grow into a full HR Consultant position and is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills in human resources. The Associate HR Consultant will assist in a variety of HR projects, with a primary focus on classification and compensation studies, data collection, and internal tool development to improve efficiency.
Travel Requirements
This role may require occasional travel, estimated to be 0-5%, to attend client meetings, project consultations, and team collaboration sessions.
Typical Job Functions
- Provide project management support for classification and compensation studies.
- Conduct market research, benefits analysis, and job matching to assist compensation studies.
- Compile and analyze data to prepare reports and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain internal tools to support data analysis and project management.
- Collaborate with senior consultants and participate in team meetings.
- Assist in administrative and financial tasks, including project billing and budget tracking.
Desirable Qualifications
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
- Experience in technology solutions and data management systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- A team player with adaptability, integrity, and customer focus.
Education and Experience
Any combination of experience and education that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be:
Education
Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in relevant field. For non-client-facing positions, additional experience on a year for year basis may be allowed as a substitute for the education requirement for this position.
Experience
One year of relevant experience performing work as related to the assignment/duties outlined above.
