Aon's Talent Solutions Practice is seeking seasoned Human Capital consulting business development professionals who have a proven track record of selling to Fortune 1000 companies in the United States. This is a hybrid role based in any of the following Aon Offices: San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York City, and Denver.
This role will report to the North American Chief Commercial Officer and will lead via influence and collaboration approximately 25-30 Talent Solutions colleagues. The role will evangelize and drive Talent Solutions within North America, creating and using relationships within business developers across Aon, as well as coordinating with the global commercial team on trends and best practices.
Aon's Talent Solutions business is a leader in assessment, rewards and performance analytics consulting services in the United States, Europe and Asia. Talent Solutions maintains a very strong presence in the technology, life sciences, financial services, retail and ecommerce, manufacturing, gaming and media and transportation and mobility sectors.
What the day will look like
- Inspire and lead Aon's Talent Solutions commercial colleagues to pursue targeted companies in high priority industry sectors. Collaborate with Talent Solutions commercial and advisory colleagues to target high priority companies that are candidates for our assessment, rewards and data analytics products and advisory services.
- Lead Talent Solutions colleagues to develop relationship maps of our clients and pursue targeted outreach to CHROs, VPs of Rewards and VPs of Talent in Fortune 1000 companies. Speak with business/HR leaders about contemporary topics facing them, including talent and rewards trends, hiring trends, return to work, future of work, talent war, etc.
- Build a comprehensive solution, across multiple teams, to meet multi-dimensional client problems that span talent assessment and rewards related opportunities and challenges. Lead Talent Solutions commercial and advisory colleagues to respond credibly and creatively to selected 'must-win' RFPs with selected clients and prospects. Lead choreography of presentations and demonstrations.
- Drive thought leadership white papers and presentations in collaboration with commercial sector leaders and SMEs to originate opportunities within the respective sectors, while developing relationships and connecting with marketing to drive deeper client penetration.
- Drive and collaborate in pursuit of targeted companies with colleagues in Aon's Health, Retirement and Risk solution lines.
- Collaborate with Talent Solutions commercial and advisory colleagues to develop agendas and presentations for in-person and virtual meetings. Develop materials and present confidently on modern trends for Talent Solutions communities in a virtual and in-person format.
- Call upon selected clients in high priority sectors (aforementioned) in selected geography. Build individual book of business and field opportunities to advisory colleagues.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- 15 + years in professional services/consulting with a focus on human capital.
- Extensive track record of professional services sales/business development.
- Extensive record of advising Fortune 1000 companies in the US.
- Creative, non-linear problem solver who can lead senior colleagues to develop proposals that differentiate Aon's Talent Solutions business and tackle client problems.

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $220,000-$315,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in Aon's annual incentive plans in addition to base salary. The amount of any incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
