Responsibilities
- Ensures accuracy, security, and availability of information.
- Observes each patient’s behavioral conditions throughout the testing processes.
- Provides observation summaries for each patient. Scores evaluations in a standardized manner.
- Performs inventory checks on forms and tools needed prior to conducting tests.
- Debriefs patients/families regarding test results.
- This role requires maintenance of records in an ethically appropriate and timely manner using practice software.
- Represents the practice in a professional fashion and maintains confidentiality appropriately.
- Individuals with experience as part of a multi-disciplinary practice team are preferred, along with interest in growing in hours and responsibilities as caseload grows.
- Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to urgent/emergent situations.
- Maintains clean work area, clean treatment rooms and requests needed supplies.
- Maintains professional appearance and personal conduct at all times.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with co-workers and other professionals as it relates to collaboration of care for the patient.
- Keeps regular clinic hours as approved by Manager.
- Directs all patient scheduling matters through the front desk coordinator.
- Attends meetings as requested and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology (PsyD or PhD) required
- Current State Psychologist license
- Current CPR certification
- Efficient problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills and time management skills
- Must keep best interest of the client and family at the forefront of all activities
