The Director of Risk Management will work alongside Account Producers to provide risk management direction and oversight on client accounts, maintain relationships with your clients in the service of their overall compliance, build relationships with numerous insurance companies to enhance services provided to Alera Group clients and continually develop your expertise in the Risk Management field.
This high-profile position in Property and Casualty Insurance has the primary responsibility of servicing clients regarding OSHA-compliance, safety-related items, and overall risk management for Alera Group commercial clients in both General Industry and Construction. This role provides exposure to key players and business owners in the South Central Pennsylvania and beyond.

- Safety Consulting to Alera Group clients (on call, email, in person)
- Address client OSHA regulatory compliance. Services to include written programs, training, and mock OSHA inspections.
- Assist clients with PA State-certified workplace safety committee(s). Attend monthly meetings, provide resources & guidance, aid in the initial application & renewal process.
- Review and assess client injury losses. Focus client safety assistance towards injury trends. Conduct accident investigations, per client request.
- Provide 3 rd party auditor (Avetta, Browz, ISNetWorld) guidance.
- Work with and develop strong working relationships with the risk management/loss control representatives for client insurance carriers.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience in Safety Management field
- Pennsylvania Safety Committee Trainer Certification
- OSHA Outreach Training Certification
