ProRecruiters is seeking an Experienced Manual Machinistto join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Set up and operate machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and grinders.
- Calculate dimensions, tolerances, and workpiece layouts for machining tasks.
- Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on materials.
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines.
- Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, and depth of cut.
- Start and monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
- Adjust machine controls as needed to maintain precision.
- Verify the conformance of finished workpieces to specifications.
