The Senior Manager is a key member of the Market Insights and Analytics Team. Using their knowledge, skills and experience, they will provide actionable data driven recommendations to guide critical business decisions.
Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, MI&A will be responsible for the insights and analytics required for products within the SUN Pharma Branded US Portfolio.
In partnership with each products' Brand Marketing and cross functional team, the Senior Manager is responsible for using expert analytics to provide meaningful market insights that enable effective, data driven decision-making.
The Senior Manager must also demonstrate the ability to work independently with a proactive approach to meet business needs and deadlines in order to drive company/business initiatives.
The Senior Manager will:
- Become the key problem-solving partner to the relevant franchise and brands by establishing strong relationships with key cross functional team members and collaborating with them in understanding their unique business challenges.
- Translate the business needs into actionable analytic-focused efforts to provide strategic and synthesized insights leading to actionable recommendations
- Lead Qualitative and Quantitative market research projects to support the brand strategy, including vendor selection and management, design, execution and presentation of results.
- Using their expert knowledge of secondary Pharmaceutical databases, answer analytical questions from the cross functional team
- For their product and therapeutic area, lead competitive intelligence activities.
- Collaborate with other members and the Director of MI&A in brainstorming the optimal solutions to research questions
- Maintain full compliance with internal and external guidelines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required; Masters Degree or MBA a plus
- Overall minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, majority in the US
- Minimum 5 years in marketing research and/or analytics or related experience involving: framing of strategic questions to be solved, generating insights (primary research and secondary analytics), synthesizing implications, driving for practical/actionable solutions, measuring impact
- Solid understanding of qualitative and quantitative primary and secondary market research methods
- Strong Experience with pharmaceutical data sources such as IQVIA, Symphony, Claims, and other syndicated resources; strong understanding of Patient/Claims data (APLD) preferred
- Experience in collecting strategic Competitive Intelligence insights.
- Demonstrated partnering and influencing skills, stakeholder management, and project management
- Experience in Brand Marketing and/or other Business areas preferred (e.g., Managed Markets, Sales, BD, Sales Ops)
- Experience launching products in the US (preferred)
- Cross-functional experience preferred (e.g., managed markets, pricing, medical, analytics, sales, marketing)
- Experience in one or more of the following therapeutic areas preferred: Dermatology, Ophthalmology, and / or Oncology
