Duties and Responsibilities
- Calls on current customers and prospects; provides technical, marketing, and administrative product information and demonstrations; quotes appropriate customer prices using an online quoting system.
- Provides product-specific information for the best therapeutic outcome for the patient. Effectively explains advanced characteristics and features of Neuro products to Operating Room staff & Surgeons.
- Provides clinical support in surgeries, troubleshooting, and follow-ups in hospitals and clinics.
- Provides training and in-services for Neurosurgical equipment.
- Responds to customer needs, requirements, and problems in accordance with Company policy, acting as a liaison between the customer and Neuro Business Unit, Customer Service, and Credit departments.
- Maintains account records and reports activities and submits as required.
- Manages and submits sales expenses in accordance with the budget. Effectively manages personal sales sample inventory and ensures Setworld product is returned in a timely manner per company SOP.
- Judgment is required in resolving all day-to-day problems.
- Interacts with internal and/or external clients and customers to negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations. May consult with senior management.
- It is essential for an employee to be present and in-person at the physical site(s) of our customers and potential customers, including clinical settings such as hospitals and clinics. Many Healthcare Customers require proof of requisite vaccinations and immunizations, including COVID-19 and seasonal influenza, before entry into clinical settings. Compliance with vendor credentialing requirements is necessary, including background checks and immunizations.
Professional Competencies
- Qualifications - Education/Experience/Training:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 02-04 years related experience required.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
