Epic TravelStaffing is hiring a Travel – X-Ray Tech

Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36 hours per week, weekends Friday to Sun or Sat to Mon depending on need

Length: 8 weeks

Requirements:

3 years as Rad Tech experience
ARRT(R)
BLS

Position / Specialty: X Ray Tech

Critical access hospital. Pretty busy ER. Not a lot of inpatient work. Newly remodeled department. Radiologist onsite during the day and nocturnists reading remote after hours; voice recognition software.

Start Dates: 11/18, 11/25, 12/2, 12/9

Holidays REQ? Yes – must be available to work ALL holidays within contract (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day)

RTO Restrictions: No RTO will be considered

Contract Length: 8 weeks – NOT eligible for extension

Open to accommodating block schedule? Yes

Weekend REQ: Yes – Friday to Sun or Sat to Mon depending on unit’s need

Is on-call REQ? TBD by need

Years of experience REQ: 3 years as Rad Tech

First-timers accepted: No

Certs REQ: ARRT(R), BLS

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No

Unit Equipment:

Canon x-ray room and Shimadzu Rad/Fluoro room
Hologic mini-C-arm and OEC standard C-arm.

Total Staffed Beds: 124

Scrub Color: All RN: Black (L&D not provided), LVN/LPN: Eggplant, SPT/OR: Provided, CNA: Gray any shade, RRT: Dove Gray, CT Tech: Navy, MLT: Black, lab coat provided or business casual with provided lab coat;

Charting: Epic

Parking Cost: Free in Care Center lot or hospital lot (walk to Care Center)
