BrightEdge is currently seeking a Collections Analyst who will be responsible for cash collection for an assigned portfolio of customers. Ensuring minimum past due invoices is key to success and collecting cash faster. Developing relationships with sales and customers is key to helping achieve better collection metrics.
We're Looking For:- Strong communication skills, both written and verbally.
- Demonstrated experience in a Collections, AR, or analytical role.
- Experience using NetSuite, SAP portals (Ariba, Coupa, etc), & Salesforce preferred.
- Knowledge of how to apply for and process payments.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook experience.
- Ability to handle shifting priorities and demands promptly and efficiently. Utilize time management skills to manage priorities.
- Reliable and professional individual.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver assignments on time.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain an assigned account base for Collections. Follow up on all invoices promptly and provide analysis for slow-paying customers, disputes, and doubtful accounts. Update the ERP system with collection notes, follow-up dates, payment commitments, and disputes. Interface with company sales and customer success team members, as well as external customer contacts.
- Prepare and attend weekly status update meetings with the AR manager and controller. Follow-up on actions agreed in these meetings.
- Participation in a “customer first” culture, developing relationships with customer points of contact, driving cash collections for the company.
- Perform daily cash applications in relevant ERP. Maintain Excel files of daily cash collections.
- Maintain case files in Salesforce related to payment advice and collection issues.
- Complete and return Vendor forms for new customers.
- Other tasks, as needed.
