Job Overview
Assist in coordinating the daily operations of the Field Services area within the Parking Services unit. This position is Monday- Friday 2pm-10pm, hours will vary depending on major events.
Essential Functions
- Assist in managing Field Services full-time and student staff; including recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, and evaluating staff. Assist in providing tools for new employee training and staff meetings.
- Coordinate Call Center program including staff recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, supervising student workers.
- Develop/revise employee handbooks, policies and procedures as needed.
- Manage special event operations.
- Oversee day-to-day parking facility operations: including inspection and repair of parking facilities to ensure facilities and equipment are in proper working order; perform audit of all Parking Access Review Control System (PARCS) equipment and meter collections; provide service to customers.
- Inspect field services equipment (e.g., radios, safety lights, vehicles) to assure proper use and maintenance.
- Monitor key issuance policy, inventory and security issues.
- Responsible for ordering field services supplies and managing the budget.
- Utilize parking management system to analyze traffic flow, provide reports and resolve issues.
- Manage technology applications for the department. Research and develop proposals for new technology that could aid in customer service or operational efficiencies.
- Develop area objectives and monitor progress toward objectives. Review objectives to identify problems and solutions, prioritize solutions and develop action steps for improvement.
- Supervise and coordinate special projects.
- Serve as a liaison with Public Safety, Athletics and other campus departments.
- Serve on internal and university-wide committees.

Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Trainings/Certifications
Valid Driver’s License.
Required Experience
- One (1) year of relevant experience.
- Strong commitment to teamwork, customer service and fiscal responsibility.
Additional Qualifications Considered
Experience with T2 mobile enforcement, FormStack, SubitUp.
One (1) year of supervisory experience.
