About the opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to become a crucial member of our Dayforce implementation team, serving as the primary contact for new customers throughout their tax and banking setup. In this role, you’ll oversee the setup of tax profiles, banking details, and ensure a smooth transition to support allowing Dayforce to facilitate bulk tax return filings on our customers’ behalf. This role is pivotal as a “first impression” in the customer onboarding process, contributing significantly to fulfilling our promise of delivering quantifiable value to our customers while “making work life better.”
What you’ll get to do
- Collaborate with customers and internal Dayforce implementation teams throughout the entire process, from customer kickoff to transition to ongoing support for tax and banking onboarding.
- Execute the establishment of the customer’s tax profile within the core record-keeping systems proactively initiating and tracking required tax, banking, and funding forms.
- Maintain strong attention to detail with customer information, ensuring accuracy and prompt follow-up to meet go live dates and internal timelines.
- Enable back-office testing and funding coordination between the Dayforce application and back-office systems as part of the customer setup process.
- Possess and demonstrate an intermediate understanding of our products’ functionality and payroll tax principles.
- Manage small to medium scale projects to solve problems requiring independent judgment while maintaining project plans and ensuring seamless communication at every stage.
- Ensure adherence to implementation SLAs, KPI’s and terms & conditions of contract.
- Proactively identify and report on potential risks within projects or customer setup to ensure issues are captured, triaged, and resolved timely.
- Maintain regular communication channels to provide updates on tax setup progress to relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings with key client stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition from implementation to support.
Skills and experience we value
- Bachelor's degree and/or 3+ years industry related experience or combination.
- Related experience in payroll, tax, or customer service is preferred.
- Project management experience or certification is a plus.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products.
- Ability to analyze and problem-solve issues using tools and techniques.
- Proficient understanding of tax compliance and regulatory requirements.
