Job Description
This is a remote position.
Our Business Consultant will be responsible for gathering and defining business processes, business requirements, business pain points and synthesizing findings into comprehensive solutions for both technical and non-technical teams to comprehend. The business consultant acts as the bridge between IT and the business to ensure that the business needs are being met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate with key business stakeholders to gather requirements, business needs, and strategic goals.
- Develop and communicate Enterprise Data Management topics to business and technical resources.
- Ability to communicate and translate technical information appropriately to different levels of the client organization.
- Gathers requirements using Agile methodology and ensures business alignment.
- Verifies, traces and manages functional and nonfunctional requirements.
- Facilitate and capture business/technical requirements from legacy systems for modernization.
CRITICAL COMPETENCIES
- Proven capabilities in business analysis.
- Knowledge of formal requirements gathering methodologies.
- Confidence in tackling new business or technical challenges.
- Confidence in conversing with clients and gathering business requirements.
- Experience creating business process flows.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years demonstrated success as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Disciplined curiosity: interest in asking ‘why’ and synthesizing important findings into alternatives and recommendations.
- Role is remote, but has potential for up to 25% travel (Monday through Thursday).
