POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clinical Nurse Manager would report to the Administrative Director of Health at Home under the oversight of the Chief Nursing Officer. The Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of Health at Home. They provide input into the hiring of clinical staff and oversee their training and professional development. They liaise with patients and healthcare professionals and coordinate patient care plans. They are expected to manage staff by assigning and delegating tasks as needed and develop protocols and procedures to improve staff productivity and improve quality of care. They will develop and monitor quality initiatives inclusive of patient satisfaction. Develop and ensure that all policies and procedures function in accordance with state and federal laws and regulatory requirements.

Specific Job Functions:
- Verify insurance benefits and complete pre-certification as required.
- Monitor all patients for continued benefit coverage.
- Process all admissions and discharges into the EMR systems.
- Verify and input daily charges.
- Complete billing audits for all patient charts.
- Assist with receptionist duties when backup required.
- Manage physician orders, verifying they are sent and returned in a timely manner.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments, advancements, and trends in insurance coverage by attending seminars/workshops, reading professional journals, and monitoring applicable websites and list serves.
- Assist with special projects and assignments by their Director.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient medical and financial information in verbal, written and electronic form.
