Speech-Language Pathologist– Middle and High School (Grades 5-12)
AnthroMed Education is looking to expand our community of Speech-Language Pathologists. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a middle and high school setting. The middle and high schools are part of the same school complex, serving grades 5 through 12. As an SLP, you will play an essential role in supporting students' communication needs, from middle school (grades 5-7) to high school (grades 8-12).
Position Details:
- School Hours: 7:15 AM - 2:45 PM
- Workday: 7-hour days
- School Year: August 28th, 2024 – June 13th, 2025
Additional Support:
- The middle school has an SLP-A, and there is also another SLP and SLP-A at one of the other schools in the district.
- The IEP system used is eSped.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to assess students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to address communication goals for students.
- Provide both direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure students receive the necessary support for academic and social success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with state and district regulations.
- Collect data and monitor student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Communicate regularly with families to share progress updates and provide strategies for supporting students at home.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
- Eligibility for appropriate state licensure.
