Role Profile:
This position will be based in Kingsport, TN and will work flexible part-time hours of no less than 20 hours a week.
The Pricing Solutions Representative in the Pricing Operations is a key resource to corporately support Eastman’s pricing processes. In addition to process support, the role will also be involved in process development and improvement, training and coaching, best practice sharing and consulting, and developing/interpreting analytics results. Much of this work will come in the form of specific projects, so significant project management experience will be gained.
Responsibilities
- Understand all pricing-related processes, including strategic pricing practices (e.g. Price Bands, EVEs)
- Assist business partners with implementation of all pricing-related processes
- Onboarding/training/coaching of Pricing Analysts and Pricing and Product Managers on existing processes, best practices, and compliance expectations
- Support corporate initiatives/projects as Pricing expert, as a team member or leader
- Help monitor and respond to support requests from CSRs, Pricing Analysts and all other business partners for all Pricing related issues in various systems
- Provide courteous and professional support to other members of the PPM CoE community and our business partners
- Use and maintain the Troubleshooting Guide for basic support requests
- Delegate support requests to other members of the CoE team and IT as required
- Become proficient in the use of Vendavo, SAP, SalesForce and Tableau software for pricing applications
- Identify and suggest pricing process improvements
- Manage SharePoint administration as needed
- Manage security Administration as needed
- Serve as back-up for other Pricing Solutions Representatives
Qualifications
- Four year Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred)
- Two years of experience in a Pricing role
- Clear and effective written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Initiative and the ability to work in a team setting
- Ability to think and operate independently, independent problem solving
- Proficient use of standard software packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint)
- Experience with SAP based systems a plus
- Ability to learn and understand global Pricing procedures
- Capability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Capacity and desire for continual learning in Pricing and system tools
- Ability and desire to interface with many people
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills for problem solving and decision analysis
- Able to function in a matrixed organization
