My Gym Children's Fitness Centers provide a different work experience for applicants that have worked at daycares, preschools, camps, or as nannies. How we are different:
- We offer more scheduling flexibility and shorter shifts! You can work for us and attend school or possibly juggle a second job.
- You get to work with different co-teachers each day!
- There is more variety in your work day! Our teachers have responsibilities outside of teaching. Since we are a small business, everyone helps to run the business. You can help with marketing, administration, inventory, planning, etc.
- We teach 50-minute active early learning classes. You will work with a wide variety of ages (3 months to 7 years) and get to teach lots of different ages and children on each shift.
- No lesson planning! You get to concentrate on curriculum delivery. My Gym's corporate office creates our weekly curriculum.
- Our classes focus on learning through active play. Kids at My Gym are smiling the whole time because My Gym is the highlight of their day!
We are looking for a full-time (30+ hours) candidate with:
- Experience working with and teaching young children (infants to 8 years).
- An athletic background. You must be physically fit since we teach active learning classes in a children's gym!
- An outgoing and social personality.
- An interest in career growth. This position can lead to becoming an Assistant Manager or Manager.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work on Friday afternoons (12-5pm) to attend our weekly curriculum meetings.
- Must be able to work one weekend shift. Typically about 6 hours.
- Must be able to work 5 shifts each week (~ 30+ hours).
