Assigned to a County laboratory with primary responsibilities for accurately performing the full range of sampling, testing, tracking, analysis, quality control, and peer review, equipment calibration and maintenance duties; identifying equipment, sampling and testing issues; accurately identifying and troubleshooting issues and taking appropriate corrective measures; adhering to strict prescribed guidelines, processes, permit requirements, and other State and Federal mandates and regulations; training and assisting other Lab and County staff; and maintaining strict chain-of-custody; does related work as required.
The job is located to the Henrico County Water Reclamation Facility located at 9101 WRVA Road in Varina.

Hiring ranges and minimum qualifications are as follows:
Laboratory Analyst I $55,005.67 - $101,185.51
Four (4) year degree in biology, chemistry, or other relevant field; and previous relevant work experience preferred; OR, any equivalent combination of education, experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Laboratory Analyst II $57,646.08 - $106,042.68
Four (4) year degree in biology, chemistry, or other relevant field; and two (2) years of previous relevant work experience required; OR, any equivalent combination of education, experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Laboratory Analyst III $60,413.25 - $111,133.01
Four (4) year degree in biology, chemistry, or other relevant field; and four (4) years of previous relevant work experience required; OR, any equivalent combination of education, experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Laboratory Analyst Senior $63,313.24 - $116,467.69
