About the Internship Opportunity:
Data is fundamental to the daily operations and strategic planning of every business. The Database Infrastructure and Administration Team at TDS Telecom is charged with storing, protecting, and reporting on TDS Telecom corporate data. The team utilizes state-of-the-art technologies such as Oracle Exadata to assist other teams with converting raw data into a valuable asset that can be used for making business decisions.
TDS – Database Analyst Internship This position is geared towards candidates with highly developed analytical skills who have the desire to pursue a career in database administration. The successful candidate will be a proven self-starter, detail-oriented, possess critical thinking skills, and have the desire and ability to quickly learn new technologies. In this internship, you will have the opportunity to learn and work with a variety of Oracle and Microsoft technologies. In addition, you will be working alongside individuals that are recognized leaders in the field, who routinely speak at industry conferences.

Responsibilities
While engaged in the TDS – Database Analyst Internship Program, one can expect to enhance their knowledge base and experience in one or many of the following areas:
- Oracle Database Administration
- Database and data integration development
- Data analysis and validation
- Business requirements analysis and development
- Process automation initiatives
- Contribute ideas and database analyses to complex, high-profile, large capital projects
- Professional verbal and written communication across all levels of the organization, including at the executive level
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 1(+) semesters of relational database coursework
- 1 semester of programming coursework (any language)

- MySQL experience

- Neo4j experience
- Oracle Enterprise Manager experience
- Oracle Application Express experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
