Our client, a not-for-profit organisation based in Gloucester, is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their small, friendly team on a part-time permanent basis. They are looking for an individual who is experienced in a senior financial role and committed to building and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders at the charity.
Responsibilities:
- Providing financial oversight to the organisation
- Reviewing monthly payroll
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Managing contracts
- Managing the annual budgeting and business planning cycle
- Managing ongoing services including VAT, audit, banking and investments
- Ensuring statutory financial responsibilities and reporting requirements are met
- Managing production of annual accounts through liaison with Auditors
- Responsibility for ensuring the appropriate UK tax, accounting and other appropriate legislation
- Monitoring, reviewing and managing key risks to the organisation
- Improving processes and systems and driving a value for money culture
- Financial aspects of grants applications
Hours: 3 days per week
Salary: £35,000 pro rata + onsite parking
