Program Manager, India Finance & Business Integration

If so, Amazon has an immediate opening for a Senior Program Manager to join our Finance and Business Integration team, focusing on India expansion.
India has emerged as one of the fastest-growing geographies for Amazon with many exciting projects. As a Senior Program Manager, this leader will work closely with the financial systems team, accounting operations teams, tax, treasury, and others, representing the accounting organization to various stakeholders. In this role, the candidate will be part of a team that collaborates with business finance and technical teams to deliver world-class solutions that are highly scalable, secure, and flexible. The projects will span across the Consumer domain, including Seller Services, Retail, and Payments. This role also provides high-level visibility across business, accounting, and finance.
A successful candidate in this position will have demonstrable experience with financial reporting, system and process design, project management, and internal control-related responsibilities. This person will have operated successfully in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment. Good verbal and written communication skills are crucial, as well as the ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope business requirements, and prioritize.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop Program Managers to provide project support and assistance to Amazon's business and technology teams with the design of new products or offerings and set up of financial systems to ensure appropriate business support and controllership.
- Responsible for consultation, oversight, and implementation of cross-functional projects.
- Manage and prioritize work for the assigned portfolio; work directly or indirectly with various stakeholder teams and monitor quality to ensure standards are maintained.
- Identify and communicate project risks to senior leadership, along with clear recommendations for resolution or mitigation.
- Provide leadership and technical guidance in executing large-scale process implementations and improvements within new business launches and existing processes and controls; define scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with the global accounting, tech, finance, tax, and business teams to establish and maintain good communication channels.
- Hire, develop talent, and actively participate in Accounting recruiting efforts.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable experience.
- 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience.
- 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience.
- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.
- 3+ years of directly managing and leading a team of 3+ members experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience.
- 4+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause, and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience.
- 4+ years of mentoring junior finance and/or business team members experience.
