Boater's World Marine Centers is seeking a highly experienced and driven Sales Consultant with a strong background in Powersports, Marine, or RV sales for our Bradenton, FL location. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer Service Excellence:
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance, representing the company to the highest standard.
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with customers by delivering an exceptional, customer-centric experience.
- Be a trusted resource for customers across all departments (sales, service, or parts), ensuring seamless communication and support.
- Proactively manage your workspace, keeping it tidy and organized to reflect the company's values.
- Identify and communicate customer service opportunities to management, helping to improve overall customer satisfaction.
- Continuously seek ways to add value to the organization by embracing new challenges and responsibilities.
Sales Leadership:
- Leverage your extensive sales experience in Powersports, Marine, or RV industries to drive revenue and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Actively manage a sales pipeline, maintaining a constant flow of qualified prospects into and through the sales funnel.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, ensuring timely follow-up and personalized service.
- Close high-value sales transactions that not only meet the customer’s needs but also contribute to the company’s growth and your personal success.
- Efficiently manage the sales process from start to finish, including paperwork, dealer management system (DMS) entry, and post-sale follow-up.
- As the business expands, handle brokerage services for yachts and boats, capitalizing on new revenue streams and opportunities.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards in every sale, ensuring transparency and trust in every customer interaction.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with other departments, including service and parts, to ensure the smooth operation of the dealership and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Be a key contributor to the team’s success, willing to assist wherever needed to maintain excellent service standards.
- Share best practices with colleagues and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Requirements
- Preferred background in Powersports, Marine, or RV sales with a minimum of 3-5 years of successful sales experience in a similar environment.
- Proven ability to exceed sales targets and a strong track record in building lasting customer relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of boats, marine products, motors, or RVs and the ability to translate technical features into customer benefits.
- Proficient in computerized sales management systems (DMS) and other related technology tools.
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter, with a demonstrated ability to drive sales and achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player who is eager to collaborate and contribute to the success of the dealership.
Compensation:
- Recoverable Draw Base + Monthly Commission – A competitive compensation structure designed to reward top performance.
