Boater's World Marine Centers is looking for entry-level Sales Consultants with a passion for customer service and a desire to grow within the marine industry. If you have experience in customer-facing roles such as bartending, retail, or other service-oriented jobs, and are looking for a new opportunity, this could be the perfect fit for you. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer Service Focus:
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance to provide a positive first impression to customers.
- Build meaningful relationships with customers, ensuring they have a customer-centric experience that exceeds their expectations.
- Assist customers in all departments (sales, service, or parts), offering helpful, friendly service.
- Keep your workspace clean and organized, reflecting professionalism and attention to detail.
- Communicate any customer service opportunities to management to help improve overall satisfaction.
- Take ownership of new tasks and challenges, continuously seeking ways to enhance the customer experience.
Sales Development:
- Learn to assist and guide customers through the buying process, from answering initial inquiries to closing sales.
- Build a pipeline of prospective customers and actively follow up to move them through the sales process.
- Gain experience in successfully closing sales transactions that benefit both the customer and the dealership.
- Use the dealership management system (DMS) to accurately enter sales and process related paperwork.
- Be proactive in learning about boats, motors, and marine products to improve your product knowledge over time.
- Grow your sales career with opportunities to expand into higher-level sales and potential brokerage services.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work as part of a team, assisting colleagues in other departments (service and parts) when needed to provide excellent customer service.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by being a reliable and supportive team member.

Requirements
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.

- Basic computer skills and a willingness to use technology in a sales environment.
- Must be motivated to succeed, eager to grow, and interested in building a sales career.
- No prior experience in the marine industry is required, but an interest in learning about boats, motors, and marine products is a plus.
Compensation:
- Recoverable Draw Base + Monthly Commission – Offering competitive pay with plenty of opportunities to grow your earnings through commissions.
