About the Team:
The Premium Hub - Center of Expertise (CoE), part of SAP Customer Services and Delivery, has the goal and mission to ensure optimal performance, availability, and smooth operation of SAP software as well as to optimize technical and business processes.
Experience Required:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of native SAP HANA on-premises developments in both XS Classic and XS Advanced environments.
- Perform performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting for SAP HANA or S/4HANA environments.
- Conduct root cause analysis and provide solutions for issues related to Generic ABAP, S/4 HANA ABAP CDS.
- Basic understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform.
- Exposure to SAP HANA Cloud or SAP HANA Cloud migration is an advantage.
- Expertise in SQL and scripting for SAP HANA Database.
- Experience with ABAP or other programming languages (e.g., Python, Node.js).
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned tasks, and prioritize effectively.
- Willingness to travel to SAP customers in North America (occasional weekend work may be required).
- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, such as computer architecture, cloud computing, and performance analysis.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and management at all levels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering (Mathematics, Computer Science, Electronics & Electrical, or other engineering fields).
- Minimum of 3-6 years of relevant professional experience.
- At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar role.
Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. The targeted combined range for this position is 68,800 - 156,800 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc.
