Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for a Senior Air Quality Consultant to join our Environmental team on the east coast. In this role, you will provide air quality consulting services for a broad range of industrial clients throughout the Northeast and Southeast regions of the US. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Managing and serving as technical expert on air quality projects spanning a variety of technical areas within air quality such as: air permitting, air compliance and reporting, auditing, dispersion modeling, etc.
- Directly interfacing with clients, including identifying new project opportunities and preparing proposals.
- Overseeing project teams to complete air permitting projects.
- Preparing air permit application documentation, including: complex emission calculations, regulatory applicability evaluations, and dispersion modeling analyses.
- Leading air quality compliance assessments.
- Providing senior review of permit applications, emission calculations, dispersion modeling, and compliance evaluations.
- Overseeing project financials and staff execution of project tasks.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering or related field of study.
- 10-15+ years of air quality permitting, compliance and/or air modeling experience.
- Consulting experience required.
- Direct experience preparing technical documentation for air permit applications for Title V, NSR, NNSR, PSD, GHG, Standard Permits, and Permits by Rule.
- Technical understanding of PSD/NSR, air permitting requirements, and dispersion modeling.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently.
- Ability to foster and maintain client relationships through effective project management and delivery of high-quality work products on time and within budget.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Salary range: $111,760-$167,640 based on experience.
